At the January 2010 OPCOM Meeting in St. Louis, MO, the National Commodore authorized the Director of Government Affairs to begin the Government Relations Division.  This division is foster working relationships between the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the following agencies:

 

• National Weather Service (NOAA)

• U.S. Air Force - CAP HQ

• IOWA National Guard

• Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
